OffBeat Record Store Day Celebration

April 18, 2026 @ 8:00 AM

Overview

OffBeat — Jackson's destination for vinyl, comics, and culture — throws open its doors early for Record Store Day, the annual global celebration of independent record stores and the communities built around them.

The shop will stock a curated selection of Record Store Day exclusive vinyl pressings alongside new and pre-loved records spanning every genre. Limited pressings go fast, so early arrivals have the best shot at the rarest finds. The first 45 customers through the door also receive a free limited-edition tote bag.

Starting at 10:00am, DJs take over with all-vinyl sets that run throughout the day, setting the tone for an afternoon of digging through crates. Food pop-ups from Chef Chris and Chef Enrika will be on hand serving lunch and desserts. Sales on posters, tote bags, and more run from open to close.

Cap the evening with a Vinyl Care Class hosted by the JXN Spinners Record Club at 6:00pm — a hands-on session covering cleaning, storage, and preservation for collectors at every level.

Schedule at a Glance:

8:00am — Doors open; exclusive releases available

10:00am — All-vinyl DJ sets begin
