MS Capital City Pride's sixth annual "It's Pride, Y'all!" Festival takes over the grounds of the Mississippi Museum of Art for a free, family-friendly weekend celebrating Jackson's LGBTQIA+ community. Saturday's "Rooted & Rising" festival runs from noon to 9pm with a full lineup on the Main Stage and Atrium, including Drag Story Hour with Penny Nickels and Merry, a Youth Zone and dance party, a live podcast panel, spoken word, comedian Rita Brent, local bands Kicking! and Venus & the Flytraps, a five-artist Drag Showcase, performances from Mia Starr (Season 18 of RuPaul's Drag Race), a Community Toast, and a closing Glow Dance with DJ Citizen Jane.

VIP All-Access Weekend Pass and Host Committee holders kick off the weekend Friday evening with a private party and gala featuring cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, awards, and music from DJ Citizen Jane, plus access to an indoor/outdoor VIP lounge and meet-and-greets with performers throughout the weekend. The weekend wraps Sunday with a Halloween Drag Brunch featuring Mia Starr and Mississippi drag artists at Hal & Mal's.
