Exhibition: i see yøu

September 4 — September 27, 2026

Overview

"i see yøu" is an exhibition by JBUCK and curated by Christina McField that examines a personal and universal desire to be seen.

Through large scale paintings and mixed media creations artist JBUCK explores the pursuit of validation through visualizations of relationships, family, love, and faith. This abstracted series of work was playfully created under the influence of many artists who came before him and resulting in a new mythology of characters through which these stories are told. This autobiographical exhibit offers the viewer a deeply personal look into the artist's life while also challenging all of us to look inward and how we feel and are seen.

About the Artist:

JBUCK is a painter, fashion designer, creative director and videographer from Jackson, MS. Blending graffiti with influences of artists like Henri Matisse, Basquiat, Picasso, and a wide range of cultural influences, JBUCK uses his art as a way to document his own life and the lives of those around him.

This exhibition opens with a free reception open to the public on September 4th from 5-7 pm and is open September 4 - September 27. Our hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 11am-4pm.
