Boundaries Move

December 27, 2025 @ 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Overview

Boundaries Move is a free community symposium for performance, discussion, and celebration of experimentation in music. Presenting musicians from across the South East and New York, this event gathers Mississippians who are curious about and tantalized by unconventional experiments in sound and musicality. This entirely free event builds community around creativity, innovation, and a sensitivity to boundaries and how they move.

Boundaries Move is a presentation of Improvisation Alliance of Mississippi and Significant Developments. This effort is supported in part by funding from the Mississippi Arts Commission, a state agency, the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, Alternate ROOTS, serving the United States South, and the Mississippi Center for Cultural Production's TBD Fund made possible with support from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
