Small Batch Bakers: Urban Foxes
Urban Foxes is serving the Belhaven neighborhood and surrounding areas by providing sweet and savory pies, other bakery items, coffee, and craft beer.
The small-batch bakery is owned by Jackson native Cody Cox, who formerly worked as the general manager at the Fondren Cups location. He and his co-owner and wife, Molly West, are ready to serve the Jackson neighborhood with delicious pastries and drinks.
The pie, cookie, and scone flavor selection vary each day, but you’re sure to have fresh, homemade pastry options every time you visit.
The Urban Foxes Twitter pages tweets out flavors each morning, with options ranging anywhere from chocolate ganache pie, turkey and sweet potato pot pie, chocolate chip scones, bacon cheddar scones, and vegan almond molasses cookies.
No matter what day you stop in, Urban Foxes is sure to have something for everyone and every craving. The menu options include a Slice O’ Pie ($5), Savory Pie ($7), Scone ($4), Cake ($4), Muffin ($3), Grilled Cheese ($6), Cookie ($2), or a Pie Flight (any three slices, $12).
If you’re coming into Urban Foxes for something to sip on, they’ve got you covered. The “cool stuff” menu includes canned and bottled beer ($3-$6), draft beer ($7), Kombucha ($5), bottled cold brew ($5), iced chai latte ($5), regular iced latte ($4.50), or a soda for just $2. Items on The “hot stuff” menu include inexpensive coffee drinks from a commuter brew to an Americano, espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, cortado, latte, mocha, hot tea, or a chai latte.
