Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation’s “Bright Lights” Event is Sunday

The Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation (GBNF) will host “Bright Lights”, a reinvented version of the neighborhood festival that has been held for 17 years. This year, the progressive event is scheduled for an entire Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Belhaven’s Bright Lights will be a free event! Rain or shine, participants can register for an event guide & passport at The Oaks Museum from 10 am until 2 pm on the day of the event. Participants completing the passport challenge will use their event guide to cash in for instant gift cards.

Starting at Sunflower Oven, then moving to Urban Foxes and culminating at Fertile Ground and Belhaven Town Center, the event will feature loads of music, art markets, and of course food and drinks. Several businesses will offer special hours and Bright Lights-themed menu items.

“This next chapter of Bright Lights is highlighting bright spots in Belhaven”, said Bright Lights Committee Chair Molly West. “Neighbors from near and far can dip into cafés, bakeries, breweries, markets, museums, and restaurants as they enjoy live music at four stages and two art markets. The indoor/outdoor model will also be useful for attendees to break from the weather.”
