Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with wreath-laying ceremonies and the annual MLK Parade. The parade begins at Freedom Corner and proceeds toward Lanier High School, bringing the community together in celebration of Dr. King's vision and continued work toward justice.

Councilman Kenneth Stokes will address the importance of remembering Dr. King's sacrifices while confronting ongoing challenges in the community, including violence prevention. The event serves as both a celebration and call to action, inviting Jackson residents to reflect on King's message and commit to positive change in their neighborhoods.
