Homestead for the Holidays

Overview

During the excitement of the winter holiday season, the MS Ag Museum will host its Homestead for the Holidays event. Held Thursday & Friday, December 7-8, 2023, the Ag Museum will be open from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for this joy-filled holiday event. Admission is $8 for ages 3 and up.

Enjoy a sampler breakfast for supper, story time with Mrs. Claus, and get your picture made with Santa and Rudolph! Take a stroll through Small Town to see the demonstrators, visit the Fortenberry-Parkman Farmstead, and experience Christmas during the late 1800s.

Carousel and train rides, hands-on historic crafts, and live music will be available throughout the grounds. Make sure to write a letter to Santa on one of our limited edition postcards, printed in the Small Town Print Shop. Stop by the General Store for an old fashion glass bottle drink, and browse the wares and unique Mississippi-made products!
