Vote Jackson for Southern Living's South's Best 2027

Southern Living's South's Best 2027 survey is open, and this year works a little differently: every eligible category is now a write-in, which means Jackson and its dining and hospitality partners have a wide-open shot at recognition. Voting runs through September 30, 2026, with the ranked Readers' Choice round following this fall and winners announced in the magazine's April issue.

Two main categories are built for Jackson: South's Best City and South's Best Food City. Both ask voters to write in their pick, so typing "Jackson, Mississippi" in each field is the whole ballot.
