Overview
Mississippi marks America's 250th birthday with a landmark musical event featuring 1,000 voices, a live orchestra, a children's choir, and special guests. United in Song is the America250 Mississippi Commission's signature celebration — a live, televised tribute to the nation's history, set against the backdrop of Mississippi's extraordinary musical heritage.
Original arrangements by Grammy and Dove Award–winning composer David T. Clydesdale anchor an evening that draws performers and audiences from across the state for a once-in-a-lifetime shared experience of music, community, and national pride.
