Overview

Spend a day in the garden with blues, poetry, and hands-on learning. Blues singers Vasti Jackson and Keith Johnson take the stage, while poetry readings from Jackson State University students and faculty, along with local literary artists, add the spoken word to the mix.

Between performances, join birding lessons, gardening classes, and cooking and culinary demonstrations. Craft activities for all ages keep younger guests busy, so the whole crew can settle in for the day.

Bring your own food, lawn chairs, and good vibes.
