Save the Pearl Tiki Popup

Overview

Northshore Specialty Coffee owner Trey Malone and his friends bring a true tiki bar experience to The Pearl for one night, part of an effort by the development's team to give the space fresh new energy. The Pearl's developers invited Malone and his fellow tiki enthusiasts to take the reins, and he's been working closely with Highball Lanes and the Block, along with Joe Cravens and Taylor Gardner, to bring the vision to life.

Malone and his friend Jim Goode are serving up 13 classic tiki cocktails, including the Mai Tai, the Zombie, the Three Dots and a Dash, Planter's Punch, and Ti Punch — recipes that trace back to Don the Beachcomber, who opened the first tiki bar in Los Angeles on December 5, 1933. These are the some of the same drinks Malone and Goode featured at Northshore Specialty Coffee about a year ago during a rum tasting with Ed Hamilton, an event that sold out of tiki mugs.

Strong turnout could mean more pop-ups to come! Reservations highly recommended.
