Overview

Chef Arvinder Vilkhu of Saffron NOLA brings his acclaimed modern Indian cooking to Elvie's for a 4-course tasting menu, the first in a guest chef lineup that continues with Pizza Grace, Enrika Williams, and Holy Water in the months ahead.

Born and raised in India, Vilkhu spent 31 years as General Manager of the Pickwick Club before turning a side passion for cooking into Saffron, the modern Indian restaurant he and his wife Pardeep have built on Magazine Street since the early 1990s. The restaurant has earned a MICHELIN Guide recommendation and was a James Beard "Best New Restaurant" semifinalist in 2018; Vilkhu himself was a James Beard "Best Chef: South" contender.

Seating is available in the Dining Room, Chef's Counter & Bar, and Front Porch, each offering the same $96 per guest 4-course menu.
