Mississippi born photographer, Maude Schuyler Clay, transports her viewers into a moment in time that tells a story about the past, belonging to Clay and her family and the larger community. In connection with this exhibition, join us for a conversation with Mississippi-based photographers about their own inspirations and connection to their communities, the people and places that inform their work and how it serves as a means of Placekeeping. The evening will also feature music, art making, food trucks, and more.
