Overview

“Market and a Movie” is a new, community-focused, culturally collaborative event series created by Magnolia Sunset Markets and the @msfilmsociety, soft-launching during 601 Day Weekend at Union Market Jackson!

This first experience is intentionally intimate — blending film, music, storytelling, commerce, and culture inside one unique space.

The evening will feature:

• A boutique vendor market experience

• Sounds by DJ Java

• A screening of “Flower” at 6PM

• A filmmaker Q&A with @gediiwee & @cokebumaye!

• Community, conversation, and creative energy

This is a pilot experience designed to explore what’s possible when intentional spaces are created for people who live at the intersection of storytelling, culture, music, and art.
