JSU Tiger Parade of Champions

Overview

Join the City of Jackson as we celebrate the Jackson State University Tigers' historic Celebration Bowl victory! The championship parade will feature Head Coach T.C. Taylor and the national championship-winning Tigers team who defeated South Carolina State 28-7 in Atlanta.

Features the championship team, coaches, and JSU leadership led by Head Coach T.C. Taylor and the victorious Tigers squad.

Event Details:

DJ Performance: Starting at 4:00 PM at the ‘Welcome to Jackson’ sign at the corner of State and Pearl St (behind the Hood Building).

Pep Rally will start at 5:00 PM at the ‘Welcome to Jackson’ sign at the corner of State and Pearl St (behind the Hood Building).

JSU Licensed vendors selling merchandise at 200 South President St , in front of the Hood Building

Food Trucks at the Corner of Pascagoula and State Street

Parade Begins at 6:00 PM

Street Closures:

Streets will begin closing at 2:30 PM to prepare for the parade route. The street should be back open by 8 PM

Parade Route

Beginning at State Street at Pascagoula Street to Capitol Street to West Street, from West Street to Pascagoula Street to State Street where it ends.
