JSU Homecoming Parade

October 17, 2026 @ 8:00 AM

Overview

Jackson State University welcomes alumni, students, supporters and the community home for a week of tradition and Tiger pride.

The Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 17, features longtime JSU faculty and staff member Dr. Hillard Lackey as Grand Marshal.

Due to campus construction, the parade follows a revised route: from the Prentiss Street roundabout along Robert Smith Parkway, right onto Dalton Street at the roundabout, ending at the T.B. Ellis Building. The grandstand is at Dalton and Lynch streets.

Arrive early, as traffic and street access may be affected. Parking details will be shared through official JSU channels.
