Jackson State opens its home slate at The Vet with the HOPE Labor Day Classic against Edward Waters. The Tigers enter the season as two-time defending SWAC East Division champions under head coach T.C. Taylor, coming off a 9-3 (7-1 SWAC) 2025 campaign.
Start Game Day at the HOPE Tailgate Experience
Join us from noon to 6 p.m. for the HOPE Tailgate Experience, featuring live entertainment, food, giveaways and plenty of ways to get in on the fun.
Enjoy a live performance by Stephanie Luckett, entertainment from WJMI’s Jay Jones and Chelle B., a live WJMI broadcast featuring Alice Marie, a 360-degree photo experience, the HOPE Prize Wheel and more.
Then, at 6 p.m., it’s game time. Look for HOPE throughout the stadium, including the HOPE Dance Cam, T-shirt tosses and other game-day features.
