History Is Lunch: John Foreman and Ryan Starrett, "John Blommart and the American Revolution in Natchez"

At noon on Wednesday, May 13, John Foreman, journalism professor at Mississippi State University, and Ryan Starrett, teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School, will explore the rise and fall of John Blommart during the American Revolution as part of the History Is Lunch series. John Blommart, a Royal Navy captain, led a failed rebellion against Spanish rule at Mount Locust in Natchez. This free event will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums and will stream live on the MDAH Facebook page and YouTube channel.
