HBCU Labor Day Classic: 2026 Battle of the Bands

Overview

For the second time ever, 10 HBCU bands come together in one place for a day of music, marching, and showmanship. This year's lineup features Alcorn State, Bethune Cookman, Grambling State, Jackson State, Langston, Mississippi Valley, Southern, Talladega, Tuskegee, and University of Arkansas at Pine-Bluff.

The day kicks off with the FanFest & Food Truck Festival, followed by the Parade of Bands, and builds to the Battle of the Bands showdown under the lights at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Bring the entire family for a full afternoon and evening of HBCU band culture.
