Overview

The Mississippi Council on Economic Education (MSCEE) welcomes two nationally recognized voices from Marketplace for an evening of conversation about the economy, everyday financial decisions, and the forces shaping what comes next.

Kai Ryssdal is the host and senior editor of Marketplace, one of the nation’s most popular business and economics programs. Bridget Bodnar is the co-creator and co-host of Million Bazillion, the hit podcast that makes money and economics fun for kids and families. Together they bring an entertaining, storyteller’s take on economic topics. Attendees can also connect with business, education, and community leaders from across Mississippi.

Proceeds support MSCEE’s work to give K–12 teachers the training, tools, and resources to teach economics and personal finance in classrooms statewide. Every ticket and sponsorship helps prepare educators, engage students, and build a more financially secure Mississippi.
