Overview
The Farish Street Book Fair is an event hosted by the Farish Street Historic District Main Street Association (FSMS) to provide free literary material to youth and young adult groups within the city of Jackson. This event is a collaborative effort with Marshall's Bookstore, the oldest Black-owned bookstore in the nation, and includes several institutional partners and sponsors. The event will be held on the newly developed Farish Street Green space, and will include several components that promote educational progression & environmental stewardship.
