Overview
Join us at our annex building for a signing event with Ellen Gabardi for her new book, TO HOLD IT ALL on Wednesday, November 18th at 5:00 pm in conversation with Rev. Beth Foose, Episcopal priest, and Kathy Woodliff, LPC.
Leigh Anne and Bill Moore will welcome us with music.
To Hold It All: Poems as Containers is a collection of contemplative poems by Ellen Gabardi and accompanying images primarily by Mississippi artists. The book itself, covered in a deep-water blue fabric, is an invitation to calm and depth. The poems and images carry the reader there.
Ellen and Curt gift all proceeds from the sale of the books to six Mississippi nonprofits.
About Ellen Gabardi:
Her natural inclination is to notice what is beneath the surface of everyday life. There, edges are softer, sounds are muffled. There, she can see. There, she can hear. After 30+ years of leading small contemplative groups, Ellen Gabardi offers this book of poetry as a gesture of gratitude for all who have gathered, with great courage and vulnerability, to see and hear what lies just beneath the surface.
