Community Peace Walk

Overview

Join Serenity Moore, Miss Juneteenth Mississippi 2025–2026, and the youth of Central United Methodist Church for a peaceful, prayerful community walk through downtown Jackson. The event opens with prayer before a gentle loop to the Mississippi State Capitol, returning via East Hamilton Street, and concludes with fellowship and refreshments back at the church.

Organizers describe the gathering as a moment to promote unity, encourage healing, support the community, a peaceful, prayerful gathering. Attendees are welcome whether they walk the full route or join only for the opening prayer and closing fellowship.
