Overview

The Mama Joe Project centers storytelling via film as educational outreach on aging, support for caregivers, and brain health. In addition to screening the documentary film “My Mama Joe, Hope & Help” which features the story of a matriarch, and the family journey in caring for her as a person with early onset dementia, attendees will be able to ask questions directly of an expert panel of doctors, scholars and practitioners. The event is in the 3rd floor theater of the Jackson Convention Completes and is open to audiences of all ages and backgrounds; a complimentary resource guide and refreshments are provided.
