Animal Track Identification Workshop2148 Riverside Drive
Jackson, MS 39202
Overview
Led by Robin Person, owner of OutsideIN MS, this workshop is for Master Naturalists and anyone interested in learning how to identify animal tracks in the wild.
Learn basic characteristics of the tracks of many of Mississippi's most common animals, including location, size, number of toes, presence of claws, gait, and other unique identifiers.
There will be an activity to identify tracks and then determine what event the tracks indicate, an opportunity to make plaster animal foot print casts, and everyone will take home an animal track ID book!
