Alex Parker: "Love Here" Exhibition

October 17 — November 1, 2026

Overview

"Love Here" presents new work from Alex Parker, a painter and mixed media artist based in Byram, Mississippi. Parker’s work explores how memories shape who we become, looking at how bodily, mental, and social experiences interact to form one’s identity.

Parker began making art at a very young age and draws inspiration from animation, games, and internet culture. That influence shows up in work that feels both playful and deeply personal. A 2025 graduate of Belhaven University, Parker holds B.F.A.s in Art and Graphic Design.
