Inspired by the brasseries of Paris, La Cour is a melange of culinary influences, creating innovative, locally sourced dishes that celebrate the influences of French, Continental, and new American cuisines.
Located at “the heart” of Highland Village (center courtyard), the brunch menu includes California Benedict (biscuit, lump crab, avocado), spinach and goat cheese omelet, Creole omelet, Chicken Cordon Bleu omelet, bagels & lox, French toast, shrimp & grits, filete y huevo (steak and eggs), Croque Monsieur, and more.
Lunch and dinner menu features shrimp dip, fried okra or crab claws, duck tenders, cheese & charcuterie plate, crab-stuffed mushrooms, seafood pistolettes, gumbo, French onion soup, saffron seafood chowder, grilled peach and pecan salad, roasted beet salad, burgers, lobster roll, pork chop, lamb chop, Creole linguine, veggie burger, redfish, filets and ribeyes. Desserts are macarons, truffles, cheesecake, and beignets.
La Cour also features live music – depending on the local musician, might be guitar or jazz saxophone or someone tickling the ivories at Jackson’s only piano bar. Locals praise the kind and attentive wait staff, delicious brunch menu, outdoor seating area, and the overall atmosphere, citing its “great vibe.”
Brunch and lunch diners can enjoy a casual atmosphere, but at dinnertime, La Cour requests business casual dress.
Reservations via OpenTable are encouraged. The private dining room is an excellent venue for birthdays, small reunions, or meetings.
La Cour is open seven days a week: Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturdays 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
