Broad Street Baking Company and Cafe is located in historic Banner Hall in the heart of Jackson. Opened in 1998, Broad Street has been a Jackson staple ever since. With offerings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and open from 7am to 3pm Sunday and Monday, and 7am to 8pm Tuesday - Saturday, Broad Street has you covered.

Restaurateurs Jeff Good and Dan Blumenthal opened Broad Street as an homage to executive chef Blumenthal’s grandfather, Sol Blumenthal. Sol’s photograph is proudly showcased throughout the restaurant on menus, marketing materials, and walls. If you’ve visited Broad Street, then this is a face you know well.

Baking is in the Blumenthal genes and the craft was carefully handed down from generation to generation, before landing in Sol’s sturdy hands as a gift from his father Barney. In 1946, after decades of perfecting his skills, Sol opened Blumenthal’s Bakery on Broad Street in Trenton, New Jersey. Sol and his wife, Deborah, ran Blumenthal’s Bakery, as well as two other bakeries in Trenton, for over 20 years.

Broad Street proudly boasts that all baked goods, from the bread, to the pastries, to the perfectly iced cookies, are made locally, by hand, and with lots of love in every bite. Menu items span a delicious range from soups, salads, and sandwiches to their new Griddle Melts, Low Carb Bowls, and even burgers. The pastry and dessert cabinet stays stocked with decadent cheesecakes, cookies, cakes, and more. Perfect to grab and go, or stay and savor.

Not only does Broad Street have something for everyone, but from 5:30pm to 8pm on Saturdays, kids get 1 FREE kid's meal with each adult entree purchased.
