ONE GUY STEAK AND CHICKEN

Another local favorite food truck, One Guy Steak & Chicken, serves up (you guessed it) delicious steak, chicken, and more. But did you know that Chef Kendrick Gordon trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris? His goal of standing out in Jackson's culinary scene has diners choosing from lunch and dinnertime favorites like bourbon filet mignon, buffalo chicken, and his famous mashed potatoes and fries. Catch where he's at on social media.

GREEN GHOST TACOS

Another taco lovers' go-to, Green Ghost Tacos' brick-and-mortar goes mobile with their food truck. Patrons can look forward to the same classic street tacos, Traditional or American style, and other fan favorites like fajita burritos and urban bowl. A born and raised Jacksonian and veteran, Eddie Wright keeps his mobile pits burning and creativity ablaze with Eddie Wright BBQ. Fans are head over heels for his fall-off-the-bone favorites like Lemon Pepper Rib Tips, smoked turkey legs, and smoked Rotel. With accolades from the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival and a guest judge spot at Taste of Mississippi, his menu is a must for barbeque lovers in The City With Soul. TAQUERIA LA REATA

Missed Taco Tuesday? Don't panic. Taqueria La Reata serves up delicious Mexican fare that’s perfect on any day of the week. Their rotating menu has everything from classic street tacos to fajitas and quesadillas stuffed with flavor. Taqueria La Reata moves all around the metro area, but when in Jackson, you can usually find them on I-55 North Frontage Road next to C Spire at Deville Plaza. POPPY PIES

Grab a slice of Italy at Poppy Pies, Jackson's first family-owned mobile pizza booth that serves authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. Whether you're a Margarita lover or a classic Pepperoni fan, the cheese pull (and flavor) is always strong. Lately, they've been a favorite at Fertile Ground Beer Co. in Belhaven. See where they're headed next on social media.

HOG HEAVEN BBQ

Dubbed “the best little BBQ store you always heard about” by locals, this food truck is smoking premium St. Louis-style ribs, pulled pork and other classics that will satisfy any BBQ lover. Diners can choose from a Sandwich Box with their choice of pulled pork or chicken (plus a side), smothered BBQ nachos, ribs, sausage dogs, and more. Follow their eatery on social media.

CHUNKY DUNKS

Food trucks aren’t just for savory options; Chunky Dunks Sweets Truck is the perfect choice when you’ve got a sweet tooth. Enjoy treats like ice cream nachos, hot fudge sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, brownie a la mode, classic ice cream scoops, and a creation dubbed “Cool Moon” – a moon pie with ice cream. Though Chunky Dunks focuses heavily on private events and neighborhood visits, you can also find the truck in downtown Jackson during Greater Jackson Arts Council’s Food Truck Fridays. Keep up with them on social media.
