Pickle Fest is coming up June 8th, 10am to 7pm. This year the event is looking even bigger and better than ever. And because of increased interest in this event, we thought it would be helpful to give you some helpful tips and tricks on how to Pickle Fest.

Tip one: time. This year for Pickle Fest, we've extended the hours to be from 10am to 7pm. This gives you multiple opportunities to get out here, comfortably fitting in your schedule and attending this event.

Tip 2: Parking. So, if you show up to the event and see our parking lot looks a little full, don't worry about it. Just keep going down Lakeland Drive and you'll see some overflow parking for Pickle Fest at North Jackson Youth Baseball Fields and Mayes Lake in LeFleur’s State Park. We'll have shuttle services going to and from these locations all throughout the day so that way you can get here and enjoy this fantastic event.

Tip 3: Shuttle Parking. Shuttle parking is a great addition to this year's event and we hope that it's going to help make things easier for you. So, whenever you plan to come to this event, keep in mind that you might have to get on a shuttle bus. So be sure to bring appropriate strollers or bags that would fit easily on a bus with you.

Tips four and five: entrance and fast pass. So, we went ahead and put these two tips together because they go hand in hand. So the first thing is we've added a secondary point of entry through our forestry bridge. Now, this point of entry is unique because it is specifically for the fast pass. What is the fast pass? I'll tell you. Basically, once you've parked in your parking spot and you have gotten out of your car and you are ready to come and enjoy this event, we'll have things placed all throughout both parking lots where you can scan a QR code, make a ticket purchase right there from wherever you are, and then you'll have a proof of purchase emailed to you.

Now, once you have your proof of purchase, you can actually just go straight to the forestry building and show that to enter the event. That's it. You get out of your car, scan the code, walk over to the forestry building, show the proof of purchase, enter the event.

Tip six: water activities. Yeah, it's gonna be hot. So, we have lots of options for you to cool off. You know, we'll have water activities like water slides out there for you to enjoy, but just be sure to dress appropriately for that. You know, we don't want you to ruin your favorite shirt or pants, so come prepared to get wet if you want to get wet.

I hope these tips have been of some kind of help, and we really look forward to seeing you on June 8th from 10 am to 7 pm for Pickle Fest 2024.
