The Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) is honored to be recognized as the third best Children’s Museum in the country by USA Today for the 2024 Reader’s Choice Travel Awards.

Twenty museums were nominated by an expert panel and then the nominees were voted on by museum supporters and USA Today readers. The Mississippi Children’s Museum was recognized as 3rd in the “USA Today 10Best Children’s Museums in the U.S.” list and is part of USA Today’s annual 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

“It is an honor to be recognized as one of the best children’s museums in the country,” said Susan Garrard, MCM President, “MCM is the state’s largest educational institution for children and provides a safe, imaginative space for children and families of all backgrounds to play, learn, and grow. To be recognized nationally is a testament to our steadfast commitment to provide excellence and unparalleled experiences to our visitors.”
