The Mississippi Card Show Returns to Jackson's Trade Mart This August

VXV Events announces the second annual Mississippi Card Show, set for Saturday and Sunday, August 22–23, at the Trade Mart in Jackson. The two-day event brings together vendors and dealers from across the region specializing in sports cards and collectible card games, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and Disney's Lorcana.
This year's show features a lineup of notable guests from sports, entertainment, and gaming:
Megan Hollingshead is an American voice actress best known for voicing Nurse Joy in the English-language adaptation of Pokémon and Mai Valentine in Yu-Gi-Oh!, with additional credits in Naruto, Bleach, and the Persona video game series.
Joe Horn is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons. A Saints Hall of Fame inductee, Horn will be inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026. He played college football for the Itawamba Indians.
Dale Murphy is a two-time NL MVP (1982, 1983) and seven-time All-Star who spent 15 seasons as an outfielder for the Atlanta Braves. He won five consecutive Gold Glove Awards and ranks among the most decorated players of the 1980s.
RK Post is a freelance illustrator whose career spans Magic: The Gathering card art, Dungeons & Dragons, and projects for LucasFilm, Marvel, DC Comics, and Blizzard Entertainment. He was twice nominated for an ASFA Chesley Award.
Ron Simmons is a retired professional wrestler and former NFL defensive tackle, recognized as a college All-American at Florida State. He is best known for his career in WWE and WCW.
John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) is a retired WWE professional wrestler, three-time WWF Tag Team Champion alongside Ron Simmons as part of the Acolytes Protection Agency, and a member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020. He currently serves as a WWE ambassador and commentator.
Advance tickets are available through Tixr at $15 for a single-day pass and $25 for a weekend pass (plus applicable taxes and fees). Tickets will also be available at the door. Children 10 and under are admitted free with a paid adult.
