Hank Aaron Sports Academy Set To Host HBCU Weekend

The Hank Aaron Sports Academy (“HASA”) will be hosting its HBCU weekend kickoff series beginning this Friday, March 15th when Florida’s Bethune Cookman University Wildcats coming in with 7 wins and 9 losses will take on the Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils who are sporting a .500 record at (6-6), followed by Louisiana’s Grambling State Tigers (2-13) who are looking to end a 5-game skid taking on the Alcorn State Braves who are looking for their first win of the 2024 season.Games will be played at the historic Smith-Wills Stadium, the former home of the N.Y. Mets and Houston Astros MiLB clubs and now the home of The Hank Aaron Sports Academy.

Friday – March 15

• Game 1 – 1:00 p.m. Bethune Cookman University vs. Mississippi Valley State University
• Game 2 – 6:00 p.m. Grambling State University vs. Alcorn State University

Saturday – March 16

• Game 1 – 11:00 a.m. Bethune Cookman University vs. Mississippi Valley State University 30-minute break between games 1 and 2
• Game 2 – Bethune Cookman University vs. Mississippi Valley State University
• Game 3 – 6:00 p.m. Grambling State University vs. Alcorn State University

Sunday – March 17

• Game 1 – 3:00 p.m. Grambling State University vs. Alcorn State University
