Jackson's creative heart is beating stronger than ever. Fondren, the city's most eclectic neighborhood, is welcoming a stunning new Hampton Inn that promises to redefine what travelers expect from a hotel stay.

Construction on the 111-room property kicks off early next year along State Street, nestled between The Pig & Pint and The Station. This isn't your typical roadside hotel: think boutique vibes with an art-deco aesthetic that fits perfectly into the district's artsy character. The $25 million project will feature ground-floor retail and restaurant space, adding even more energy to the already bustling corridor.

Wealth Hospitality, led by Chico Patel, is bringing their successful track record to this venture. Their Homewood Suites down the street boasts an impressive 90% occupancy rate, proving that visitors are eager to stay in Fondren's walkable, vibrant environment. Combined, these two properties will inject nearly $50 million into the neighborhood and provide almost 240 rooms for guests wanting to experience Jackson's coolest district.

The timing couldn't be better. With Duvall Decker Architecture's new mixed-use development connecting the dots between hotels and retail, Fondren is building on its seamless corridor of local businesses, restaurants, and accommodations. For visitors, it means everything Jackson has to offer: art galleries, unique shops, live music, and incredible food, all within easy reach of comfortable, with modern lodging that matches the neighborhood's distinctive personality.
