AIA Mississippi, Downtown Jackson Partners, and Visit Jackson have announced the kickoff of the 3rd Annual Holiday Storefront Challenge, an initiative to illuminate Downtown Jackson during the Capital City Lights celebration.

The concept is straightforward yet captivating: design, create, and decorate a holiday window display, install your masterpiece on the designated date, and let an estimated 20,000 holiday patrons vote for their favorite display through an online voting platform.

REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE HERE

The challenge is to design, create, and decorate a holiday window display and install it on the designated date. Interested architectural firms and designers must register by November 17 to secure their spot in this spirited contest.

The design must incorporate a lighted element, allowing room for innovation, and the provided dimensions will guide creative vision. Once installed, holiday patrons can vote for their favorite display through an online voting platform, and an estimated 20,000 votes are expected to be cast.

The voting period will span the entirety of the displays' presence from December 1 to January 4, and each voter is limited to one vote. Look for QR codes and links to vote on December 1.

Participants must remove all installation items by January 4 at 5 PM, keep the storefront clean and maintained during and after installation, and ensure that storefronts are clean and returned to their original state during takedown.
