Overview

Mississippi Today brings a full day of music, food, and community to downtown Jackson this spring. The Comeback Festival fills Smith Park with local artists, small businesses, food vendors, and community organizations gathered in The Comeback Market — a curated vendor area showcasing what's happening in Mississippi right now.

Live music plays throughout the day on the Main Stage, where a Mississippi Today journalist will also sit down for a live on-stage interview. At the Comeback Sauce Tent, Jackson chefs put their own spin on the classic Mississippi comeback sauce, with tasting cups for the crowd — expect it to draw a steady stream of visitors all day. Meanwhile, the Kids and Curiosity Family Lawn offers hands-on art and science activities for children and families.
