JXN Coffee Fest

May 2, 2026 @ 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Overview

Mississippi may not top the national coffee consumption charts, but that's exactly what the Jackson Coffee Festival is out to change. Launched in 2025 as an offshoot of the popular NOLA Coffee Festival, this event was built on a simple conviction: the South has something real to say about coffee, and it's time to say it loud.

What to Expect

The festival brings together specialty roasters from across the region for a full day of sampling, learning, and hands-on exploration. Guests have unlimited access to try more than a dozen coffee profiles, from single-origin pours to proprietary blends, while classes and demonstrations cover everything from the coffee flavor wheel and green coffee roasting to cold brew techniques and barista methods like pour over, AeroPress, and moka pot.

One of the festival's most compelling draws is its custom roasting track — an opportunity for restaurants, hotels, B&Bs, and food businesses to connect directly with regional roasters about developing a house blend. It's a niche offering that reflects the festival's broader mission: reconnecting the people behind coffee with each other and with the communities they serve.

Why JXN?

Jackson was chosen deliberately. The city sits in a region with deep historical ties to the coffee trade — and organizers see it as fertile ground for the next wave of Southern coffee innovation. For attendees, it's a morning worth savoring.
