Overview
The 13th Independence Showdown is the premier summertime battle of the bands, traditionally hosting legendary all-star/mass bands from across the country. This year, witness Theo New Orleans All-Star Band, Houston Mass Band, the Home State Band, a Mississippi alumni Star Band and many more (nine in total). These bands consist of alumni from the top HBCUs and high school bands across the country. Be a part of the most intense summer battle of the bands anywhere.
