Get ready for the Dixie National Rodeo, the largest event of its kind east of the Mississippi River, happening in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2026. Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson, along with sponsors like Southern AgCredit and Deviney Equipment through Kubota, have announced plans for this major event which draws about 900 contestants worldwide, making it one of the top 60 professional rodeos globally.

The 2026 Dixie National Rodeo will feature an impressive lineup of award-winning and nationally recognized artists throughout its run. Ole 60 will kick off the entertainment on Friday, February 13, followed by Bayker Blankenship performing twice on Saturday, February 14. Country music star Joe Nichols takes the stage on Sunday, February 15, and legendary artist Tanya Tucker will perform on Wednesday, February 18. The schedule continues with Waylon Wyatt on Thursday, February 19, and Muscadine Bloodline on Friday, February 20. Closing out the rodeo's entertainment, Mark Chesnutt will perform twice on Saturday, February 21.

Beyond the rodeo and concerts, the event will feature livestock shows, equestrian events, and a parade. Commissioner Gipson encourages early ticket purchases for an event that combines top-tier rodeo action with entertainment and community activities.
