Overview

Inspired by the "2025 Mississippi Invitational", this free event features local poets, musicians, and performers exploring the idea of home.

Want to share your voice? Sign up as an Open Mic performer for a chance to hit the stage. Each name will be drawn at random and given five minutes to perform.

This night of storytelling will be hosted by dynamic poet Amanda Furdge @amandafurdge. A leading figure in the universal Black Arts Movement, Furdge has written, published, and contributed to countless creative projects in Mississippi and across the globe.

Registration is required. MMA Members receive a complimentary treat bundle from Urban Foxes while supplies last.
