Owner Riham Dardeer has transformed her longtime dream into reality, bringing traditional Egyptian flavors to the heart of Mississippi's capital city.

From the signature koshari bowl—a hearty vegetarian meal featuring layers of pasta, rice, chickpeas, and lentils topped with crispy fried onions and served with garlic vinegar sauce—to aromatic Turkish coffee prepared tableside, Remo's offers an immersive cultural dining experience. The menu showcases comfort dishes like tomato basil soup with sourdough bread and refreshing natural smoothies made with orange juice, beets, ginger, and carrots.

After starting with a catering business in 2002, Dardeer's brick-and-mortar restaurant represents years of dedication to sharing her Egyptian heritage with Jackson. Working alongside her husband Steve Meador, she adds to the city's diverse culinary landscape while maintaining the authentic flavors and hospitality that make her homeland cuisine so special.
