Downtown Jackson's Spring Series Returns. Here's Everything Happening at Smith Park
Smith Park is Downtown Jackson's gathering place — and this spring's lineup makes it worth marking your calendar. From Frank the Camel to the Mississippi Mass Choir, here's everything happening April and May.
Smith Park has a way of pulling Downtown Jackson back to life in spring, and this year's no different. Starting in April, Downtown Jackson Partners' Spring Series returns with the kind of midday energy and weekend rhythm that makes the park feel like the city's living room.
Wednesdays bring Frank the Camel back for Hump Day alongside the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, Fridays feature a farmers' market with fresh local produce and live music, and Saturday mornings kick off with a seven-week yoga series. Round it all out with bicycle strolls, two evenings with the Smith Park Supper Club, and the Levitt AMP Downtown Jackson Music Series opening with the Mississippi Mass Choir and a gospel brunch — and you've got a spring calendar worth clearing your schedule for.
