The Pet Shop of Fondren

Fondren's Pet Shop is the brainchild of Josh and Stephanie Gilmer and has been providing an upscale, modern approach to pet health since 2016.

Not only are they business-savvy, but the Gilmers know the science behind holistic pet care. Stephanie has been a long-time vet tech at Jackson's Animal Medical Center, and Josh has over 20 years of experience in the animal health products industry.

Matching the neighborhood's eclectic and artistic energy, The Pet Shop carries beautiful handcrafted leather collars and leashes, as well as hand-turned dog bowls by local artisans to ensure your pet is always in-style.

Lefleur's Bluff State Park

Brees Bark Park

This dog park has nearly 2 acres of off-leash fun for Jackson's dogs. A quarterly membership of $33 keeps the facilities clean for you and your pet, as well as a portion going to help C.A.R.A. Animal Shelter located next door. There are even fun hiking and walking paths, splash zones, and wooded areas to explore, along with plenty of shaded areas and benches to take a rest.

While dogs must be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and friendly to take part, you know that your pup is getting the best (and safest) play experience.
