Free Concerts Are Coming to Downtown Jackson: Here's the Full 2026 Levitt AMP Lineup

Downtown Jackson is turning up the volume with a stacked lineup of free live music concerts running April through October 2026.

From a Grammy Award-winning Gospel Brunch to a Fourth of July symphony under the stars, the Levitt AMP Downtown Jackson series has something for everyone.

Free Live Music Kicks Off April 25 in Smith Park

The series kicks off Saturday, April 25 with the Grammy Award-winning Mississippi Mass Choir and Gospel Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This family-friendly event will blend powerful live gospel music with a vibrant brunch atmosphere in the heart of downtown. Opening for the choir is the New Horizon International Children's Choir Ensembles. Concertgoers may purchase food and beverages, or bring their own picnic, and are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets.

  • April 25: Mississippi Mass Choir Gospel Brunch, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Gospel)
  • May 2: Mr. Sipp, 5 – 8 p.m. (Delta Blues)
  • May 16: BeauSoleil Avec Michael Doucet, 5 – 8 p.m. (Cajun)
  • May 30: Chambers DesLauriers, 5 – 8 p.m. (Blues, Rock and Soul)
  • July 4: Stars, Stripes & Symphony with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, 7:30 – 9 p.m. at the Old Capitol (Classical)
  • September 10: Soul City Swingers, 5 – 8 p.m. (Funk and Soul)
  • September 17: Cary Hudson, 5 – 8 p.m. (Country, Folk, Blues and Rock and Roll)
  • September 27: The Wailers, 4 – 7 p.m. (Reggae)
  • October 1: Grits and Greens, 5 – 8 p.m. (Psychedelic Y'Alt Rock)
