Cathead Jam Music Festival
The 2026 two-day Cathead Jam Music Festival is a vibrant celebration of live music, local food and drinks, and community, expanding access to music education in underserved communities across Mississippi. Spectators are in store for a funky and exciting lineup of diverse artists, including Allen Stone, Kashus Culpepper, George Porter Jr. & Runnin' Pardners, Eggy, High Fade, Shadowgrass, Toubab Krewe, Waterworks Curve, Pothole Paradise, and Sixth Sense.

The Southern Artisan Vendor Gathering
The Southern Artisan Vendor Gathering is a three-day marketplace at the Mississippi Trade Mart showcasing handmade goods, regional makers, small businesses, and Southern creativity.

The 6th Annual Mississippi Pickle Fest
If you think everything should be pickled, or at least tried once, the two-day Pickle Fest is the place to be. Despite the sour bites, it's a high-spirited atmosphere full of experimental pickle-packed fun, including live music, family-friendly activities, pickling recipes, and educational demonstrations, throughout the museum grounds and historic Small Town, Mississippi.

City of Jackson Juneteenth Extravaganza
The City of Jackson is celebrating freedom, culture, and community at its Juneteenth Extravaganza. The city has an evening filled with live entertainment, African drums & dance, spoken word, line dancing, food trucks, children's activities, local vendors, and fireworks. It's a family event to honor history and celebrate unity together.
