Jackson MS Art Galleries & Studios: Vibe Studio, View Gallery & Fondren Art
Jackson offers a vibrant array of art studios, galleries, and museums with strong community ties that commit to providing shared spaces for growth and learning.
While the Mississippi Museum of Art stands as the state's largest art museum with galleries, exhibitions, and special events, it's just one representation of Jackson's diverse artistic vision.

Vibe Studio Jxn
Alexis Noble founded Vibe Studio Jxn as a creative incubator and art gallery for Black and Brown artists to be showcased and celebrated. It’s a hot spot for art exhibitions, live album showcases, and open studio sessions. With community collaboration, there’s encouragement and support that brings motivation for growth. This studio is Noble’s giant step toward making minority created art more accessible and inspiring a new generation of creatives.
View Gallery Fine Art/Collective Finds
View Gallery owner and interior designer, Whit Geary, moved the gallery to Jackson from Ridgeland in 2015. Since then, it’s been filled with artwork from talented Jacksonians, and it’s been Geary’s pleasure to find every masterpiece a home. They have a host of gifted artists, including Joy Gardner, Kristin Phelps, and Dr. Thomas “Tommy Prewitt. Their sophisticated tastes range from oils to watercolors, and from progressive abstract pieces to natural world and landscape canvases.
Fondren Art Gallery and Frame Shop
More than twenty years ago, longtime local artist and musician Richard McKey designed and built a contemporary art studio on North State Street. He produced and sold his work to local and regional collectors. Recognizing the need for space, not just for himself, but for other artists, he opened Fondren Art Gallery and Frame Shop. There you can find a portrait gallery, take art lessons, and get framing and restoration services. It’s a local, national, and international success.
