Fertile Ground Beer Co. Marks Three Years with Weekend Celebration
Fertile Ground Beer Co., located in the heart of Jackson’s Belhaven Town Center, is turning three.
Since opening in May 2022, the brewery has become a local favorite—part of the neighborhood’s daily rhythm and one of the city’s most popular community gathering spots.
This weekend, the team at Fertile Ground is inviting everyone to celebrate the milestone with two days of beer releases, music, and good company. The festivities begin Friday, May 16, with the debut of four new beers crafted just for the occasion:
- Libertas Pils, a clean, Italian-style Pilsner with a dry finish
- Peachin’ Revival, a kettle sour featuring bright peach flavor and a refreshing tartness
- Two barrel-aged stouts, aged in Cathead Distillery's Old Soul Bourbon barrels, offering deep, rich notes of oak and whiskey
Specialty anniversary glassware will be available for purchase starting Friday and while supplies last on Saturday. It’s a small keepsake that nods to how far the brewery has come—and the loyal community that’s grown with it.
The celebration continues on Saturday, May 17, with live music from The Good Timing Buddies from 1 to 4 p.m. Expect a laid-back afternoon filled with tunes, cold pours, and familiar faces.
“We’ve loved being part of the Belhaven Town Center and watching this neighborhood thrive,” said Conner Reeves, Co-Founder of Fertile Ground. “It’s been an incredible three years of brewing beer for Mississippi and creating a third space where people can connect, relax, and celebrate.”
