Guide to the Dixie National Rodeo and Livestock Show
Join cowboys, cowgirls, 4-H and FFA members, rodeo queens, and spectators at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds every January and February for the largest professional rodeo east of the Mississippi River.

Catch the Dixie National Parade
The annual Dixie National Parade in downtown Jackson is a much-loved (and free!) event that celebrates Mississippi's rich horsemanship and agricultural heritage. This year's theme is "Trailing through the Decades," and will include antique car clubs, marching groups, floats, mounted horses, and wagon trains.

Fill Up at the Dixie National Steakhouse
Indulge in delicious ribeye and Southern-inspired sides at the Dixie National Steakhouse, returning to the fairgrounds this year. Visit the south side of the Mississippi Trade Mart to experience the rodeo's blue ribbon eats.

Embrace Your Western Side at Rodeo Days
Rodeo Days are free for the public to shop, learn, and explore during the first weekend of the Dixie National Rodeo. The trade show will take place at the Trade Mart where you'll find vendors selling western and agricultural-themed items, educational booths, and the Genuine MS Store open for business.

Shop at the MS Ag and Outdoor Expo
Explore the best of the outdoors at the Mississippi Ag and Outdoor Expo's special "Spring Edition" event at the Mississippi Trade Mart during the second weekend of the Dixie National Rodeo. Featuring a vast array of options such as rods, reels, bows, UTVs, ATVs, tractors, farm equipment, and power equipment, all available with special Expo pricing, it's the perfect opportunity to gear up for your next outdoor adventure.

Support Young Agriculturalists at the Sale of Junior Champions
The Dixie National Sale of Junior Champions is the ultimate event for young livestock exhibitors in Mississippi. In 2022, 1,538 4-H and FFA youth from the state showcased 2,262 head of livestock during the Dixie National Junior Livestock Round-up, with 46 animals sold at the Sale of Junior Champions, earning a record-breaking total of $448,500. The Sale of Champions Promotion Committee also awarded 39 scholarships totaling $61,500, bringing the total scholarship money awarded since 1993 to an impressive $1.1 million. Take advantage of the chance to see some of the best in Mississippi livestock and support the next generation of farmers and ranchers.

Experience "The Greatest Show On Dirt" at the Dixie National Rodeo
A handful of the nation's most talented cowboys and cowgirls gather to compete for top prizes and an 8-second glory in rodeo sportsmanship during afternoons and evenings at the Mississippi Coliseum. Watch classic events like barrel racing, roping, and bull riding before settling in for a country music concert by some of Nashville's biggest stars.
