City Now Offers TSA Precheck

The City of Jackson Department of the Municipal Clerk will offer the service Monday through Friday.

Hours are from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00pm until 5:00 pm in the old Chamber building located at 201 S. President Street, right next to City Hall.

Those interested in registering for TSA PreCheck should visit identogo.com to schedule an appointment.

Walk-ins are also welcome. In addition to TSA PreCheck services, customers may also obtain Transportation Workers’ Identification Credential (TWIC) cards and take the Hazardous Materials Endorsement assessment.

With a five-year, $85 TSA PreCheck membership, you can speed through security and don’t need to remove your shoes, laptops, liquids, belts and light jackets. More than 200 airports and 73 airlines provide TSA PreCheck.
